The Portuguese superstar missed the India leg vs FC Goa.
Indian club FC Goa lost 2-1 to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr FC in their third AFC Champions League Two 2025-26 Group D match in Fatorda on 22 October 2025.
Brison Fernandes (41′) scored for Goa’s lone goal, while Angelo Gabriel (10′) and Haroune Camara (26′) netted for the guests.
After losing to Al Zawraa SC of Iraq and FC Istiklol of Tajikistan in their opening two group matches, this was FC Goa’s third straight loss in the ACL 2.
With no points from three contests, the Gaurs are right now at the bottom of the Group D points table, while Al Nassr lead the table with three victories from the same number of games.
Al Nassr quickly established their dominance over the game, even though it had to go to India without superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and began the game with players like Sadio Mane and Joao Felix on the bench.
That being said, Ronaldo may play against the Gaurs in the rematch with Al Nassr in Riyadh on November 5 after he didn’t travel to India.
Will Cristiano Ronaldo feature in the home leg vs FC Goa in Saudi Arabia?

Al-Nassr are top of the AFC Two group after winning all three matches and are on the verge of qualification for the knockout rounds. They will next face FC Goa in Saudi Arabia on 5th November, which means fans are once again hopeful that Ronaldo might feature against the Indian club, given that it will be a home match.
But given that the club are at the top of the table and favourites to secure a spot in the knockout rounds, Ronaldo remains highly unlikely to feature in any group match and will likely play regularly in the competition once the knockout rounds start.
Did Cristiano Ronaldo play in the Al-Nassr game against FC Goa in India?
No, he didn’t travel with the squad to the country.
Will Cristiano Ronaldo play the rematch in Saudi Arabia?
It remains to be seen, as there is no confirmation yet.
What was the result of the FC Goa vs Al-Nassr match in India?
Al-Nassr won the game 2-1.
